1. Sohail Tanvir (2008) – 22 Wickets

In the very first season of IPL history (2008), Sohail Tanvir became the first-ever winner in Purple Cap winners. He played a pivotal role in the team winning by managing to pick 22 wickets from just 11 matches while donning the jersey for Rajasthan Royals.
