Moeen Ali Brings International Experience

The Falcons’ overseas group is led by England all-rounder Moeen Ali.

The left-handed batsman and off-spinner has had a very successful white-ball career and featured in England’s World Cup winning sides in 2019 and 2022.

He can play both ways and is a great addition to the Falcons. Moeen can offer world-class batting and good off-spin, and this will give the franchise more flexibility in constructing its playing XI.

Kusal Perera Adds Explosive Batting

Sri Lankan wicketkeeper-batter Kusal Perera is another attacking choice at the top of the order.

The lefty is known for his ball-hawking and powerplay prowess. The Falcons have a solid batting lineup from his experience in international and franchise cricket.

Perera’s wicketkeeping skills also provide an additional option behind the stumps, further strengthening the squad’s balance.

Milind Kumar Offers Batting Depth

Milind Kumar, an international for USA, will be with the Falcons in the initial part of the tournament.

The right-hander has a vast experience in domestic Indian cricket and has also honed his skills in franchise and international cricket in the USA.

As the Falcons start their CPL 2026 campaign, his batting experience and occasional off-spin will give them another versatile option.

Tajinder Singh Adds All-Round Ability

Canada international Tajinder Singh is also in the mix in the initial phase of the tournament.

The right-hander and off-spinner has established a reputation in North American franchise cricket and adds some valuable all-round abilities to the Falcons’ team.

He will be able to play in both areas, which will provide Antigua & Barbuda with some flexibility in the first three games.

Shadab Khan Strengthens Spin Attack

The Falcons will have an international and franchise veteran in the form of Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan.

The leg-spinner is also a dangerous lower order batsman and has been a key player in Pakistan’s T20 cricket. He is one of the most experienced players in the overseas group, being a captain.

Shadab is a useful batsman who has proved his worth in the middle order, and is a valuable wicket taker, too.

Sufiyan Muqeem Offers Wicket-Taking Threat

The Falcons’ overseas side has an exciting addition in the form of Sufiyan Muqeem, Pakistan’s young spinster.

The left-arm wrist-spinner has come into his own as a dangerous wicket-taking bowler and is another option in the middle order for the franchise.

The addition of Shadab has made it a good mix of experience and youth for the Falcons’ spin department.

Strong West Indian Core

The overseas players will form a West Indian nucleus with players like Fabian Allen and Evin Lewis.

The Falcons have a mix of Caribbean players and international players, which provides them with a well-rounded team with powerful batters, reliable all-rounders, keepers, and a diverse arsenal of bowlers.

Falcons Prepare for CPL 2026

The Antigua & Barbuda Falcons have confirmed their overseas squad and have put together a team that will be able to deliver on the big day as well as being flexible throughout the tournament.

The experience of Moeen Ali, Kusal Perera and Shadab Khan is enhanced by the emerging talent of Sufiyan Muqeem and the versatility of Milind Kumar and Tajinder Singh.
