CPL and Rush Sports Launch Rush Live & Louder Cricket Channel

The Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL) has partnered with Rush Sports to launch Rush Live & Louder, a dedicated television channel to serve as the new home of cricket for fans across the Caribbean.

The channel’s official launch is set for July 1, 2026, and will provide Caribbean viewers with live cricket matches, highlights, original programmes, classic matches, documentaries and international cricket from world cricket events throughout the year.

Rush Live & Louder Set to Transform Cricket Broadcasting

This year, Rush Live & Louder will be played alongside this year’s Men’s CPL fixtures and international cricket from top cricket boards and competitions.

The new channel is a significant move towards the CPL becoming a year-round cricket media platform.

The fans will have the opportunity to see cricket all year round, not just during the CPL season, making it a permanent place for fans to enjoy the sport across the region.

Channel to Launch Across the Caribbean

After its debut on July 1, Rush Live & Louder will air on the major cable and television networks in the Caribbean.

The channel will feature a blend of live matches, highlights, original cricket content, classic encounters, and exclusive programming.

The 2026 CPL season of Republic Bank will get a full-fledged coverage from August 7, while international cricket will be broadcasted throughout the year.

More Than Just Live Cricket

Rush Live & Louder won’t be about live games only.

The channel will also broadcast original talk shows, magazine shows, documentaries, classic CPL matches and memorable moments from other big cricket tournaments.

This is a programme strategy to ensure that cricket fans remain interested outside of big tournaments.

CPL Expands Into Cricket Distribution

The launch represents a significant change in the CPL’s approach to cricket media.

The league already has a solid year-round social media presence, but Rush Live & Louder is taking that a step further, enabling CPL to be a distributor and curator of premium cricket content.

CPL will no longer just be a tournament and content creator, but will also be directly involved in the delivery of cricket rights and programming to the Caribbean audience.

CPL and Rush Sports Target Year-Round Audience

CPL CEO Pete Russell termed the launch a “significant event for the league and cricket in the Caribbean.”

The channel will enable fans of the Caribbean to see more cricket all year round, but still have the CPL at the heart of the offering, he said.

The project is an expression of the passion of the Caribbean people for the game of cricket, said Michael Look Tong, CEO of CPSL, the operators of Rush Sports.

He thinks that a channel with CPL properties, international cricket rights and original programming will be able to cater to the needs of cricket fans throughout the year.

A New Model for Cricket Media

The new model being proposed by Rush Live & Louder in cricket broadcasting may be a combination of the league-owned content, acquired international rights, and direct distribution.

The partnership will enable CPL to go beyond just running a tournament and owning the media rights and build a bigger cricket ecosystem for fans in the region.

Caribbean Fans Get Cricket All Year

The introduction of Rush Live & Louder is expected to help the CPL further engage with its viewers and will allow Caribbean cricket fans to enjoy top-tier content all year round.

Rush Live & Louder will be a regular stop for cricket entertainment in the Caribbean with the 2026 CPL season kicking off in August, and international cricket to follow.
